What words of advice or encouragement would you say to your hometown if you had the opportunity? That’s the idea behind the “Dear Lou” letter and video series.

The “Dear Lou” campaign was created to promote Beyond Housing’s Once and for All—an effort to bring St. Louis together to invest in the region’s most under-resourced communities to finally address the region’s longstanding challenges to move all of St. Louis forward.

The series is designed to bring a region that is often fragmented and divided closer together around the hopes and dreams that all St. Louisans share for their hometown—and the realization that a region is only as strong as the communities within it.

The latest installments include letters from area leaders, including Ameren, the region’s leading power company. Ameren recently pledged $1 million to support Beyond Housing’s Once and for All effort.
